Irish music at the Florence Community Library

Come to the library to listen to and learn about Irish music with Trotters Wake! Saturday, February 27th at 1:30 pm, the Florence Community Library will host this musical ensemble as part of its cultural programming series.

Trotters Wake was formed in 2006 by Drew Monasky, Sandy Lineweaver and Curtis Clark six years after they started playing together in church and other projects. The group is now a five piece vocal acoustic band that uses guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and other instruments. Their repertoire is a mixture of lively Irish drinking songs, rebel songs, ballads, and traditional instrumental tunes.

To sign up, or for more information, please contact the library at (520) 868 – 8311.

This project is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
