Dribble, pass, and shoot a basket in the Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department Junior NBA Basketball League. Boys and girls are encouraged to register and enjoy comradery with kids their age.
Boys and girls ages 5 to 7 can register for the rookie division, participants ages 8 to 10 are eligible for the junior division, youth ages 11 to 13 can register for the senior division, and teens ages 14 to 17 are eligible for the teen division. Ages are determined as of October 16, 2015.
Registration runs through to Wednesday, October 28th and is accepted Monday through Friday at the Florence Library and Community Center, located at 778 N. Main Street. Registrations are also accepted Monday through Saturday at the Florence Fitness Center, located at 133 N. Main St, or online at www.florenceaz.gov/parks.
There is a resident fee of $35 per participant and $44 per non-resident until Friday, October 9. Registration after that date requires an additional fee of $10.
League games begin on Saturday, November 14 and are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
