Tradition is alive and well in Florence when it’s time again for the annual Junior Parada Parade and Rodeo on Saturday, November 25th. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. on historic downtown Main Street and will feature a variety of floats and numerous riders.

The rodeo, presented by the Pinal County Mounted Posse, begins after the parade at the Charles Whitlow Rodeo Grounds, 11608 South Highway 79. The rodeo entry fee is only $10 per carload or $5 with a nonperishable food item donated to the Florence Woman’s Club.

The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce is offering the First Annual Junior Parada Double-Elimination Cornhole Tournament at Padilla Park, starting at noon. The team pre-registration fee is only $40 or $50 the day of the tournament. Call the Chamber at (520) 868-9433 or email at florencechamber@gmail.com for registration information.

From 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the American Legion is hosting a steak fry, beer garden and street dance. Country Western Artist Ashley Wineland will also be on hand to perform from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
