The Florence Community Library will host activities for children and teens, April 20 and 22.

On Wednesday, April 20, at 2:00 pm, the library invites teens and young adults to a movie that showcases an extraordinary team of extreme sports athletes. This adventure flick is free and open to all young adults on Early Release Day. Popcorn will be available for everyone who attends, but please bring your favorite soda and/or other snacks with you.

Friday, April 22, the library will make available an Earth Day “Make and Take” Craft. Craft bags will be on hand for pick-up between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm, or until supplies run out. These bags will be filled with recycled items that can be used to create a unique craft from one of three different countries: China, Egypt, or Mexico. You will need glue or tape, scissors, and crayons or markers to complete the craft.

Both the movie and the craft bag are free to the public. Please call the library at (520) 868 – 8311 for more information.
