The Florence Unified School District’s Spring Intersession will be March 13 – 24. The Florence Community Library will offer programs to help families fill the time! All library programs are free and open to the public.

You are invited to participate in any or all of the following activities:

Mondays, 2:00 pm: Teen Movies
Teens and Young Adults are invited to showings of recent movies on Mondays at 2:00 pm during Intersession. The library will show teen-appropriate movies on Monday, March 13 and Monday, March 20. Feel free to bring snacks and soft drinks to the show!  Please contact the library for title information.

Tuesdays, 2:00 pm: Bricks ‘n’ Blocks
Bricks and blocks for building will be set out in the library’s craft room on Tuesday, March 14 and Tuesday, March 21, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. Children and their caregivers are invited to come, play, build, and create!

Wednesdays, 10:00 am: Family Storytime
Children of all ages are invited to Family Storytime Wednesday mornings at 10:00 am! Every Wednesday, Ms. Gloria will present a half-hour program of stories, songs, finger plays, and fun!

Thursdays: Make-It, Take-It Crafts
On Thursday, March 16 and Thursday, March 23, you can pick up a craft bag from the library circulation desk. Supplies and instructions will be provided to take home and create a simple but fun craft!

Fridays, 2:00 pm: Family Flicks
Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to recent Family movies. These family-friendly flicks will be shown on Friday, March 17 and Friday, March 24, at 2:00 pm. Patrons are welcome to bring snacks and soft drinks to the show!  Please contact the library for title information.
