The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting registrations for the Lil Tykes Kickball League for children ages 3 to 5. Ages are determined as of September 23, 2011. This league is focused on sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun!
League is scheduled to begin on Saturday, October 1. All practices and games are held Saturday mornings an hour prior to their scheduled games. There is a fee of $30 per participant, which can be paid at the Florence Recreation and Fitness Center, located at 133 N. Main Street.
The deadline to register is Friday, September 23, 2011. Each participant receives a T-shirt and one picture. Volunteer coaches are needed for the successful operation of this program. For more information, please contact Erasmo Mendivil Jr. at 868-7589.
