The Town of Florence will join hundreds of other communities on Saturday, October 28 by participating in the national Make a Difference Day. In its 26th year, Make a Difference Day unites volunteers and communities to improve the lives of others in many different ways.
Florence Community Services is looking for volunteers to assist with approximately five community projects to be selected later. Volunteers will help with cleaning, painting, digging, planting and other similar tasks. Volunteers are encouraged to register at the national Make a Difference web site at http://www.makeadifferenceday.com/dashboard/project/making-a-difference-in-florence-az.
