Many movies were filmed in and around Florence but one of the most popular was the romantic comedy, Murphy’s Romance. The Florence Parks and Recreation Department will show this movie, starring Sally Field and James Garner, on Saturday, March 12th beginning at sundown.
The movie, filmed in 1985 will help celebrate the town’s 150th Anniversary and will be projected onto a 50-foot inflatable screen. The show will be held on the multi-purpose field just west of the Aquatic Center at 778. N. Main Street.
Bring your family and invite your friends to enjoy watching Murphy’s Romance, under the stars.
