Florence Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce a variety of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) classes which will be offered in weeks to come.

Regardless if you need a new or renewed CPR certification card, first-aid training or Healthcare Provider CPR certification, all will be offered. The courses will be taught by Mark LaClair, a certified CPR training instructor and are designed to teach proper CPR techniques and First-Aid training.

The courses are as follows: Community CPR is on Wednesday, July 5th and Thursday, August 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for only $40 per person. Healthcare Provider CPR is offered on Wednesday, July 12th and again on Thursday, August 17th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at $50 per person. First Aid classes are held on Wednesday, July 19 and on Thursday, August 24th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for only $30 per person.

All classes will be held at the Florence Library and Community Center located at, 778 N. Main Street. Pre-registration is required and may be done online at www.florenceaz.gov/parks-and-recreation, the Florence Fitness Center at 133 N. Main Street or at the Community Center.
