Do you enjoy taking photos? If you could use help from an expert to expand your knowledge and enjoyment of photography, then register now for a series of photography classes offered by Florence Parks and Recreation Department.

Instructor Lisa Langell is an award-winning wildlife photographer with an international following and known for her signature wildlife images that artfully capture breathtaking, split-second moments. Her images evoke both a visual and emotional connection for the viewer, offering not just a photograph but an intimate experience with nature.

Each class is $73 and runs from 5:30 pm. to 9:30 pm. Classes are held at the Florence Library and Community Center, 778 N. Main Street.

The photography classes taught by Ms. Langell include Key Secrets of Creating Composition on May 2; An Introduction to Camera on May 4; Advanced Camera Settings on May 9; The Art and Science of Composition on May 11; The Art of Seeing Images on May 16 and Have Fun Photographing on May 18th.
