While the collegiate football world is preparing for upcoming bowl and playoff games, the National Football League is winding down its regular season and also preparing for its playoffs. One week before the Super Bowl, Florence Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a tournament for cornhole players.

The Old Town Super Cup Cornhole Tournament is on Saturday, January 28, 2017 starting at 1:30 p.m. The first place team walks away with a $100 gift card and ownership rights to the Traveling Trophy for a year. Second place is a $50 gift card.

Historic Downtown Florence will host the tournament and include music, food and a beer garden. We are limited to 24 teams so early registration is encouraged. Teams paying by Friday, January 20th receive the early bird fee of only $30. The fee jumps to $50 after that date.

Register online at www.florenceaz.gov/parks-and-recreation, or at the Library and Community Center, 778 N. Main Street.
