A recent partnership between the Town of Florence Arts and Culture Commission and the Florence Industrial Development Authority, Inc., offers a Drum Circle, scheduled for Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
A Drum Circle is any group of people, sitting in a circle and playing (usually) hand-drums and percussion. They are distinct from a drumming group or troupe in that the Drum Circle is an end in itself rather than preparation for a performance.
The program, held at the Suter House Enrichment Academy located at 270 N. Pinal Street is free and open to residents of all ages. Bring your own hand drum or percussion instrument and join in the fun.
