The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registrations for the 2011 After School Program for grades kindergarten through 6th grade. The program provides a safe, stimulating place for children whose parents cannot be home when the school day is over.

The program is held in classrooms 13 and 14 at the elementary school located on Orlando Street and runs daily from the time school is dismissed until 5:30pm. Activities for the kids include sports, games, arts and crafts, special projects, time to do homework, and much more.

The fee structure is as follows:

For a child residing in Town limits (resident), the fee is $200 per semester per child.

For a child residing out of Town limits (non-resident), the fee is $225 per semester per child.

There is a 10% discount for each additional family member (resident and non-resident).
Visit us at the Parks and Recreation Office at 133 North Main Street to register for the program. Fees must be paid prior to attending the program. For further information please contact the Parks and Recreation Office at 868-7589.
