Construction crews are working on the section of North Main Street, between 6th Street and 8th Street, starting at 7:00am on Wednesday, November 29th. A void beneath the street has formed, and although it’s not an immediate safety concern, the construction activity will eliminate the possibility of it becoming a significant concern later.
The street will be closed during construction activities and traffic is detoured. Work is expected to be completed in one day, but there is a possibility of an extended timeline.
