Florence students are back in school and are walking and riding their bicycles to and from school. The officers of the Florence Police Department are asking drivers to be aware of children crossing the roadways near schools. Please slow down and make sure you are obeying the school zone speed limit around the schools and in the crosswalks. Officers are monitoring the school zones and taking enforcement action to ensure the safety of the kids.
