Are you in need of a good stretch and want to enjoy the benefits of working the various muscles of your body? Then come join the new “Stretch it Out” exercise class offered by the Florence Parks and Recreation Department. Stretching can help prevent injuries, relieve tension and improve alignment.
A major benefit of correct, consistent stretching includes improved flexibility of all major muscle groups. Overall health is improved along with performance in any activity or sport. Stretching will be performed through a variety of static and yoga stretches.
The class is FREE to Fitness Center members; $10 per month for residents; $12.50 per month for non-residents; and $3 per class for drop-ins. The class will be offered monthly starting April 4, 2016 and held on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Fitness Center on 133 N. Main Street.
Registration is open to ages 16 years and older. Space is limited so register early!
