Welcome, Bievenidos, Bienvenue, Benvenuti, and Willkomen. The Florence Community Library would like to invite all world travelers to the 2011 Arizona Summer Reading Program One World, Many Stories@Your Library”. Journey with us, as we discover a wonderful world of books, art and entertainment.

The library is supporting this year’s theme by offering Reading Club, Teen Movies and Games, Family Storytime, and Crafts along with lots of fun incentives. Families and their caregivers are strongly encouraged to come into the library and register their children and young adults. All activities are free and open to the public. Registration begins Wednesday, June 1, 2011 for the Reading Club.

Adults can also enjoy Summer Reading. Even if you don’t get to travel, a good book can carry you away to any “Novel Destination” – any place or time, real or imaginary. Enter a drawing for weekly prizes. Receive additional prizes for writing reviews, to be made available in the library.

As a special treat for adult patrons, Tucson-based writer Betty Webb will also come to the library for a discussion and book signing on Saturday, June 11, at 1:30pm. Make the Florence Community Library one of your “Novel Destinations” for the summer! For more information, please call (520) 868-8311.
