The 23rd Winter Olympics are next year on February 9th through the 25th in South Korea. To help recognize and celebrate this worldly event, Florence Community Services Department has partnered with the University of Arizona Pinal County Cooperative Extension to present Tiny Tot Olympics.

The event, scheduled on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon, will offer children ages one to five years old, the opportunity to participate in a variety of Olympic-themed events. There also be valuable health and nutrition booths at the event.

The events will take place on the Florence Aquatic Center Multi-Purpose fields at 174 N. First Street or just west of the aquatic center. Every participant will receive an “Olympic Medal.”

There is no fee for this event but pre-registration is required. Register at the Community Center at 778 N. Main Street or online at www.florenceaz.gov/parks-and-recreation.
