Due to the amount of public expected to attend the Monday, November 7th Town of Florence Town Council meeting, the Town of Florence has moved the meeting site to the Florence High School gymnasium, located at 1000 S. Willow Street, Florence, Arizona. The meeting starts at 6:00 pm. The doors open at 4:30 pm.
The Mayor and Town Council may elect to recess the meeting at or around 11:00 pm and reconvene on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 6:00 pm at the same location (Florence High School gymnasium).
The only items on the agenda for the Town Council meeting are three proposed major amendments to the Town of Florence General Plan 2020, including two applications by Pew and Lake, PLC on behalf of Curis Resources Inc.
For those unable to attend the meeting in person, but still want to watch, they can view the meeting live on the Town’s website at www.florenceaz.gov/tv. Unfortunately, due to the technical difficulties related to the venue change, the meeting will not be carried live on Channel 11. However, the meeting will be replayed on Channel 11 multiple times starting later that same week.
