The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is excited to offer a second tumbling class for three to six year old children. These classes are perfect for children with little or no tumbling experience. Goals are to build strength and coordination by performing front rolls, back rolls, cartwheels, handstands and bridges.
Our instructor, Tuesday Jimenez, has over 10 years of experience in gymnastics and is the P.E. teacher and Athletic Director at Copper Basin Elementary School. The classes are held every Saturday from January 9 through February 27 at the Florence Library and Community Center. The class times are 9:00 am to 9:45 am for 3 and 4 year olds and 10:00 am to 10:45 am for 5 and 6 year olds.
The cost for the eight week session is only $25 per student for residents and $31.25 for non-residents. Registration is open to ages 3 to 6 years. You must pre-register for this class. Register early as space is limited to 10 children per class! All participants must be potty-trained.
Register at the Parks and Recreation Department at 778 N. Main Street, Town of Florence Fitness Center at 133 N. Main Street or online at www.florenceaz.gov/parks.
