Volunteers are needed for this year’s 31st Annual Florence Historic Home Tour on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Volunteers serve as ambassadors for the community, as well as sources of information for each of the structures on the tour.

Most visitors to the Home Tour are from other communities (and states) so volunteers have the unique opportunity to represent Florence, as well as make new acquaintances. A training and orientation session is held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Florence Library and Community Center located at 778 N. Main Street.

Volunteers generally work in three hour shifts. Anyone interested may call volunteer coordinator Barb Kelly at (520) 560-5610 or John Nixon, recreation coordinator with Parks and Recreation at (520) 868-7699.
