The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation is accepting applications to fill positions for the upcoming swim season at the Florence Aquatic Center. The department is seeking individuals who are responsible, team players and hard workers.
Open positions are Head Lifeguards, Lifeguard II’s, Lifeguard I’s, and Recreation Leader II’s/Cashiers. One of the employment requirements is to pass lifeguard training in order to receive American Red Cross certification. Individuals who are presently certified must provide documentation confirming certification.
Interviews will begin on Tuesday, February 16 and positions will be open until filled. Training begins in March and the swim season runs from April through the end of October. Applications are available at Florence Town Hall, located at 775 North Main Street.
