The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registrations for the 2010 World Cup Youth Soccer League. The registration deadline is Friday, November 5th.
This league is offered for boys and girls ages 6 through 8 and ages 9 through 12. The cost per participant is $25. Each participant receives a t-shirt and shin guards. Games are played on Saturday mornings at Heritage Park starting November 20. Volunteer coaches and referees are also needed for the successful operation of this program.
Register today at the Florence Parks and Recreation Office and Fitness Center, located at 133 North Main Street, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. For more information, contact Erasmo Mendivil Jr. at the Florence Parks and Recreation Office at 868-7589.
