Run, kick, and have fun in the World Cup Youth Soccer League. The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is offering the 2016 World Cup Youth Soccer League for boys and girls, ages 3 to 13.
This is the first time a three-to-five-year-old age division is offered, so get your little ones registered in this great sport. Games are played on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings at Heritage Park, starting February 6.
The early bird fee $35 for Florence residents and $44 for non-residents until January 8. The fee increases by $10 per participant for registrations submitted after January 8. The final registration deadline is January 15. All participants receive a t-shirt, picture, socks, and shin guards.
Register at the Florence Community Center, located at 778 N. Main Street, or at www.florenceaz.gov/parks. Volunteer coaches are also needed for the successful operation of this program.
